Our paints provide easy clean-up with soap and water. This keeps all areas of your home, particularly the high traffic areas a beautiful finish that’s easy to maintain. We do the job right. The following is our process for painting interiors.

1. Setup
  • Rooms and areas to be painted are scheduled with the customer.
  • Large furniture is moved into the center of the room.
  • Furniture is covered with plastic.
  • Floors are covered with drop cloths.
2. Preparation
  • Walls are scuff-sanded if needed.
  • Holes and cracks in the walls are filled.
  • Gaps in trim are caulked.
  • Washing is done where required.
3. Painting
  • Repaired areas are painted.
  • Paint is applied with a brush, roller or sprayer depending on the surface.
  • Ceiling and walls are painted to proper coverage and finish color.
  • Clean cut lines between trim and walls.
4. Clean-up
  • Furniture is moved back to original positions.
  • Floors and carpets are thoroughly vacuumed and swept.
  • All garbage is removed.
  • Touch-up paint is labeled and left with the customer.
5. Inspection
  • Before the crew packs up their equipment, a "wet walk-around" is done.
  • Final touch-ups are noted on a 'punch list' and are completed before the crew leaves.

We do the job right. The following is the process for painting exteriors.

1. Cleaning
  • Pressure cleaning is available upon request.
  • Delicate areas are hand-washed.
  • Loose paint chips and debris are cleaned up.
  • Areas cleaned are given time to dry.
2. Pre-Paint Preparation
  • All loose paint is removed, all bare areas are primed.
  • All surfaces that will not be painted are covered to protect against splatter and drips.
  • Outdoor furniture is removed and covered if necessary.
  • Feather-sanding and stripping done on request.
3. Painting
  • Full finish coat is applied to proper coverage and finish.
  • Paint is applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer depending on the surface.
  • Second/third coat is available upon request or when specified on the contract.
4. Clean-up
  • Performed daily and upon completion of the job.
  • All garbage is removed.
  • Left over paint cans are labeled with a Acme Painting sticker
    and is left with customer for future touch-ups.
  • Outdoor fixtures and furniture are put back to their original positions.
5. Inspection
  • The Acme Painting team conducts a site inspection to ensure the job is beyond satisfaction.
  • The customer walks around with site foreman or manager.
  • Final touch-ups are noted and completed before the team leaves.
  • The customer is given the Acme Painting Customer Comment Card for feedback and warranty.
  • Payment is received.

A quality paint job will only last if surfaces are properly prepped before painting. That’s why we pressure wash the entire house before applying the paint. Pressure washing cleans the dirt and grime from off of your home and will also remove mold and mildew. This helps to ensure that the paint adheres to the siding better and will keep you house looking great! We also offer pressure washing of decks, driveways, walkways, sidewalks, fencing and anything else that needs to be cleaned.

2 Year Warranty

The warranty is for a period of two years. Acme Painting, Inc. warrants against peeling and blistering due to defective workmanship. This warranty is not transferable.

The warranty will be effective if, and only if, the customer:
  1. Pays Acme Painting, Inc. in full.
  2. Retains the original contract.
If these conditions are met, Acme Painting, inc. perform repairs with no labor charge. Acme Painting, Inc. will perform repairs only for the original customer. Acme Painting, Inc. will repair only areas where blistering and peeling has occurred. Acme Painting, Inc. will not exceed repairs mentioned on original estimate sheet.

Areas not warranted:
  1. Cracks in plaster and or drywall
  2. Peeling of previos paint layers
  3. Mositure damage, rust
  4. Galvanized metal
  5. Paint supplied by customer
  6. Bleeding knots
  7. Exterior varnished surfaces
The warranty does not include:
  1. Cracks or tape tears due to shifting building
  2. Paint cost
  3. Matching of the paint. The paint can be matched closely, but rarely perfectly.
  4. Mildew-caused by moisture accumulation
  5. Rotten wood, or rust or disintegrating metals
